The Turkish Angora breed is a great breed to invite into your home! They are a medium to small size breed and are extremly light on their feet and active. They have comparatively long hair and love to be pet and brushed. They do not, however, have a
thick undercoat, making them suited for a wide variety of climate conditions. It also means less groming required and little shedding.

While generally thought of as a white breed, Turkish Angoras are avaliable in almost all concievable colors including black, blue, red, cream, silver, smoke, tortoiseshell, blue-cream, and all the shades of tabby, as well as these colors with white trim.

Turkish Angoras are more quick-witted than most breeds. You will find yourself catering to all of their wants such as running water or a play buddy. One of the more refined breeds, they do not appreciate small children trying to play with them like dolls and will likely react. As long as they are given the space and attention they need, this is a great breed to have as a companion and as an accent to your home.
